Twilight 2000: Warsaw Weather Almanac

The Weather Almanac: Warsaw – Jan-Dec 2000 describes the weather around Warsaw in the mild nuclear winters conditions of Twilight: 2000, providing detailed data on the temperature, weather, wind and visibility of every shift from January 1st to December 31st. It also includes new rules and gear to use that data to enhance your game, as well as placing existing ones rules in context of the given weather data.

Inside the 83-page corpus you will find:

• 73 pages of weather data, based on real-world weather data reinterpreted for the lower temperatures of Twilight: 2000 Europe, and abstracted for ease of use in the game.
• Rules for differing visibility depending on weather, phase of the moon and other modifiers. The visibility range and modifier of each shift are listed in the weather tables to be read at a glance. Also notes on the difference between just detecting and actually identifying targets and landmarks.
• Deeper rules for exposure, in case you want to get into the nitty-gritty about how gear, heat sources and avoiding wind and wet will prevent your GIs from freezing to death.
• A bit of new gear: new night vision goggles, some protective clothing and sleeping bags to protect against the cold, and the personal tent for that size category just below small tent.
• Little tidbits of Polish history and traditional holidays matched to the appropriate dates.

An attempt have been made to make all data and new rules modular so that you can settle on just the level of detail that your group is comfortable with, and ignore the rest.
