Long Range Striking Force – SW TVD Campaign Series

The Long Range Striking Force was created during the dark days of the Soviet incursion into West Germany as pre-war Special Forces units were either destroyed or fully committed elsewhere. 

Conceived as a modern version of the Long Range Desert Group of WW2 fame and, like that, using odds and sods who just happened to be available and who had a mix of the right skills and a ‘can do’ attitude but no specific Special Operations training it proved to be a major success — ripping through Soviet and Pact rear areas 

This is the first part of the Operation Omdurman High Adventure Scenario Pack set iun SE Poland and Slovakia (as described in SW TVD #1: Slovakia, Hungary & Austria, available separately) … Part #2 is currently in preparation.

This assumes play style wildly different from the Mad Max hand to mouth howling willderness ™ of Poland as described in the TW 2000Core rules and, while being close to the notional history of that, diverges into a more militarily believable side of things … so this may not suit all TW 2000 players.
