100 Escape Pods – Vol 1: In Space

Escape pods are small vehicles used to leave spaceships, space stations, and spaceports in a time of need. Each pod is equipped with limited food, water, air, navigation, fuel, tools, and an emergency beacon to make survival possible.
This system-agnostic list can be applied to any game system with a space-faring community (like Traveler, Star Wars, Star Trek, Red Dwarf, Space Opera, Rifts, GURPS Space, etc.). This list assumes that the escape pod has been found by an outside group answering the call of the pod’s emergency beacon and that the escape pod has been stored inside a ship, station or port for years with minimal direct upkeep (leading to potential pod failures or damage due to space junk, aliens, or pirates). This roleplaying tool gives you dozens of different ways to add a new dimension to the distress signal in space.
