Susan’s Inspiration
“I love telling superhero stories, and I especially love finding new points of view and new perspectives to bring to the genre. I wanted to bring in characters who were reluctant to use the powers they have outside of their own bubble. I also wanted to find a way to tell stories about queer characters without their queerness being the focus of the story. Lastly, nobody in the story has particularly “normal” powers, like flight or super-strength. I love powers that require characters to get creative.”
