The Shield Order are the Triumvirate’s most prolific and widely scattered Morningstar Pact Order. They are ostensibly a life-saving organisation, and were created to deliver medical aid to all in need. This objective, over time, has however led to the Shield Order being deployed to some of the worst corners of the Galaxy. From war-torn unclaimed Planets to entire systems who find themselves within the iron grip of Underworld influence, the Shield Order’s arrival is rarely greeted solely with gratitude. Where there is suffering and a need for healing, it follows too that those who become involved with being a part of the solution are viewed harshly by those who are part of the problem.
At the core of the Shield Order are Doctors, Physicians, Researchers, Scientists and Scholars, all former members of purely Creation Pact Orders. Rather than relying on the divisive nature of working with separate Pacts however, the Shield Order chose to embrace the ethos behind the Morningstar Directive. Their ranks boasts some of the best Operatives committed to Preservation and even Annihilation Magic, along with elite multi-skilled Security Forces, Diplomats, Negotiators, Strategists, and even a Penitent Wing (the PW).
The PW in particular are demonstrative of the radical nature of the Morningstar Directive. Many other Orders recruit convicts to roles where aggression or ruthlessness may be required. Recruits to the PW are expected to truly demonstrate their reformed nature by adhering to the Shield Order’s strict code of engagement. You are one such recruit.Price: $1.99
