Krampus Class System Defense Carrier

Publisher: Pyromancer PublishingThe Krampus class is a 1,400 dton system defense carrier, a low cost solution to control the outer reaches of systems that don’t see a lot of traffic. It is a threat even to serious pirates, while, by its numerous small crafts, is able to “be” in multiple places at once to inspect civilian freighters.

It has the endurance for week long patrols; that can be extended for months with skimming fuel from gas giants (where the Krampus usually hangs out anyways). The crew, however, would greatly appreciate it to be rotated out regularly, since the Krampus has not much to offer comfort wise.
While the Krampus is not a suitable ship for your typical group of player characters, it can serve as an encounter, or as an adventure location, for example when the player characters try to escape its detention cells.
