A tabletop roleplaying game unlike anything you’ve seen before, created to emulate  stories of gothic horror, classical fantasy and cosmic horror with brutal, bloodthirsty combat and fate-defying player options and abilities! Fight against a doomed future wrought by the ineffable Great Ones to save the world from the everlasting Nightmare of their creation! Engage in pure melodramatic fantasy and carve your Hunter’s name in the greatest arias of triumph, or the dirges of ultimate defeat. Will your Hunter stay a human until their dying day, or will they become the bloodthirsty horror they were always meant to be?

Hunters & Horrors may still be in development, but you get to join us on the ground floor and see the game become a reality. The preview contains 66 pages of pure content, including the basic and relevant rules of play and a preview expedition, The Turning of the Black Tower, that takes players through the kind of adventure this game was made to play. During the preview, you’ll be able to control one of six pre-generated characters made to explore the possibilities of the game’s engine.
Features include:
  A unique, card-based method of resolving conflicts and calculating risks both present and in the future known as the Wheel of Fate!
  A uniquely simple take on combat, created to be brutal and fast-paced as players dive through a storm of deadly blows with elegant efficiency!
 Eight character stats to decide your fate: Strength, Precision, Agility, Instinct, Glamour, Humanity, Valour and Education!
 Aspects that define your fighting style and creeds that define your ideals!
 Unique weapons with peculiar properties inspired by From Software’s Bloodborne, and Augurs; a unique take on spellcasting unlike anything else!
 A simple, easy to imagine inventory system that bids you take only what is important to you; a good hunter takes only that which they can fight with.
 A system of play predicated on death – though you may die now, as a hunter you can rise again and bring woe to the wicked!
 A system to create a Horror out of your Hunter with Alters; become the monster inside of you with a system dedicated to fate! No random tables of boring mutations; only that which serves to make a monster only your character could become. After all, the best monsters are ones with stories to tell.
 And much, much more!
