Blind Date – A Valentine’s Day Special for Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition
Valentines Day, 1921. What a terrible time to be single – or perhaps not. Each of you extremely eligible singletons have received a flyer inviting you to a night of speed dating. The event promises cocktails, titillating conversation, and possible romance at an exclusive location in Arkham, Massachusetts. The host is someone who claims to be ‘The One and Only Priscilla Noir’ – what a tantalising prospect! Collars upturned and furs tightly wrapped against the chill blowing in over the Miskatonic River you all stand together, gathered in an alleyway as instructed by the flyer, waiting for the door in the wall to open.
Blind Date is a one-shot scenario for one to four players each controlling an ‘investigator’ and a gamemaster acting as the ‘keeper of arcane lore’ or ‘keeper’. Investigators will be led through a fabulous evening of speed-dating in a cellar speakeasy, conducted by the magnanimous personality of the famed occultist Priscilla Noir. However, all is not as it seems! As Priscilla’s guests will soon discover as the strange events slowly unfold around them throughout the night.
