TIER uses a system of Masteries, similar to Feats but much stronger. You start at level 1 with 3 or 4 masteries, depending on your race, and then gain more Masteries as you level-up. There are over 100+ Masteries to choose from, allowing you to make an infinite number of unique characters. We also added Psionics!
Characters can play from levels 1-40. You also gain experience and level-ups faster, which means more fun and less time waiting to get stronger.
Spellcasters now have more unique spells while warriors have Masteries that allow you to avoid, block, and/or reflect spells.
Characters also gain special Transformations at levels 16 and 36. Transformations significantly alter your character, providing additional bonuses, powers, spells, skills, ability scores, and unique physical and mental traits. There are about 36 different Transformations!
Most importantly, TIER only utilizes the 1D20 die, which reduces the number of dice rolls and number-crunching. Using less dice speeds up combat and allows more time for role-playing.
This product gives you everything needed to play the game, including game rules, magic items, monsters, spells, character sheets, multiple campaign settings, and sample characters, all with full color and b&w illustrations.
