The world of Twinkle Sands is inspired by a combination of 18th century swashbuckling pirates and cavaliers and 19th century Victorian dandies–with just a splash of medieval fantasy. It is a realm of science-fantasy, where the technologies such as steam engines, air ships, and gear works exist alongside huge castles, sailing ships, and hidden romantic magics.
