Path to Thornbriar

Publisher: Ramen Sandwich PressSomeone or something is snatching sheep from the flocks kept on the hillsides above Thornbriar village and leaving bloody messes behind. As your party arrives, it’s just dawning on the local shepherds — a likable, but rather dense lot — that a dangerous predator lurks among them. Is it a band of hobgoblins living on the opposite slope of the hill? Is it the anchoress who lives nearby, thought by some to be a powerful warlock even though no one has ever met her? Or is this a cryptozoology mystery, with an alpha predator prowling the sparsely populated hills? The community of Thornbriar will need some heroes to save them from this menace — and maybe, from themselves, as well.

Path to The Demon’s Veins is published under the terms of the open license for Pathfinder RPG. It is compatible with the First Edition Rules. It does not specify a particular campaign setting, and it is written to allow you to integrate it into your own campaign world by filling in various details. You can run it as a stand-alone, or as a sequel to Found by the Way #5: Path to Jarnborg. Please note that Path to The Demon’s Veins is compatible with the Pathfinder 1st Edition rules. Ramen Sandwich Press is working on conversion notes that will allow you to run Found by the Way modules 1-7 with Pathfinder 2nd Edition, and we will make them available for free as soon as they are complete.
Found by the Way is a series of short modules created by veteran RPG writer and developer Douglas Sun for use with Pathfinder RPG. Think of them as glittering mosaic tiles that you can drop into a campaign to provide your player characters with diverting side quests and memorable interludes while they follow the overall story arc. They help you keep your players energized and entertained — and maybe they’ll even level up and upgrade their gear — while you press the Pause button on your larger campaign.Price: $2.99
