Barannac was a prison planet owned by Risine, a planet of the Risini system, several light years away. A desolate place, “inmates” are dropped on the planet and left to fend for themselves in a lawlless society resembling the American West.Some prisoners are hired by contracted mining operations also on the planet.
But Barannac holds a great secret – it was once home to a vast, powerful civilization. This civilization was powered by the Alak-ans – a stone of great magical power. During the great war the stone was flung across dimensions creating a rift, and spread imbalance across the multiverse. The great war destroyed the civilization and altered reality on the planet.
