This adventure could be run in a single session, or it could take at least two sessions if the players prolong their investigation of the crime.
A local mage named Auric is the victim of a brutal crime, which the party is sent to investigate. The people responsible now seek to silence the lone, defenseless witness who could identify the person responsible for Auric’s death, and it’s up to the party to protect the witness and make sure they reach city watch headquarters safely to be interrogated.
