The Roadside Shrine – An OD&D 1-page adventure

Along a long-forgotten road between two towns there is a roadside shrine. There are broken corn dollies and rotten fruit left on the single flat stone that rests on twotree stumps, and it is covered from the rain by a thin slab of slate supported by four rough stone columns.
The deity the shrine was created for is unknown and no statue, symbol or reference is visible. The grass, bushes and trees directly around the shrine are wilted and brown, as if they are dying slowly.
However, the two corpses lying in the ditch next to the road is something of a worry…Price: $1.00
