Worst of all is the Realm of Rittguard. The blood spilt in its cruel civil war still feeds the soil and life is yet to return to anything like normal. In the halls of its government the corrupt noble Magnates of its Sem parliament vie to come out on top of the new power structure, all the while feuding with the new weakling monarch they helped install. Barred from the true decision making, the civil wars instigators and true victors, the Burgher class and their deadly regiments of “Black” Ulani flex their new influence to the dismay of the old aristocracy.Below it all, Rittguard’s common folk live from day to day, with work scarce and vast swathes of the land suffering the scars of the brutal conflict that tore apart families.Now if that’s not a grim dark setting for adventure, I don’t know what is…

This is a work in progress and whilst almost all of it is already complete, things like the maps will be added as I get a chance to finish them. (Obviously the file will be updated and you’ll incur no additional costs).Should the setting catch on, I’ll also expand it with more setting for Rittguards closest neighbours and rivals and a couple more adventures.
