Ancient stone mausoleums lie crumbling at the top of the embankment surrounded by twisted trees and brambles. The small bones of woodland creatures or perhaps… other beings cover the damp musty ground… the stench of death is strong here.
The many tombs hold skeletal figures of old but the engravings of their past have long been eroded by time. One tomb however is not like the others, It holds a secret passage down into the depths of the earth. A winding passage brings you to a set of underground chambers over looking an underground chasm with a raging river.
The chambers contain more tombs, a library guarded by towering stone statues and finally an elevated platform which holds the seats of the feared black council themselves…
