Miniature Base Risers – Mod(ular) Minis

Publisher: Reality WardIt’s time to roll up a random encounter off of one of the worlds many amazing encounter tables! Let’s see what you get… 2d4+2 (and you roll the full 10!) goblins, and 3 hobgoblins. Too bad you only have 4 goblin minis printed… but wait, you can just use the goblin minis for the hobgoblins, and use random other prints to track the regular goblins! Ok, so the fighter hits the giant rat, I mean the giant rat goblin, well the second giant rat goblin, not the first… so it takes 6 damage, ugh just enough to not kill it. Now you need to track that specific goblin’s HP. If only there were some easy way to denote which goblin belonged to which health total.

Or how about this scenario: you’ve rolled up a different encounter, this time you get a werewolf, two werebears, and a… weretreant?? Wait, you might have mini’s preprinted that’ll work for the werewolf and werebear, but you don’t have any weretreants! So what do you do? You grab one of your printed goblins and say “just pretend this goblin is a weretreant.”

As a DM, you’ve always known you can’t prepare for everything, but it’s nice to have a backup plan. These Miniature Base Risers serve two purposes, the first is to apply numbers to each specific unit, allowing easy tracking of HP and what-nots on a per unit basis. The second, is that with the added Riser Toppers you can quickly mock up any enemy that might come up. These toppers fit securely in place on the top of the risers and come in two different sizes to help mitigate printer calibration issues and their unique icons cover all of the default enemy NPC archetypes such as: Strong, Weak, Tanky, Animal, Spellcaster, Peasant (or noncombatant), and many others! Also included is a blank topper, which you can modify with your own icon using any STL tool, or just print out as-is and write on with a sharpie.

In Addition, Base Expanders add flexibility to the size of whatever creature might come up; with 2x1in, 2x2in (large), 3x3in (huge), and 4x4in (gargantuan) sizes. The expanders twist to lock securely into the Expanders, so they never accidently slip off while being moved around.
