100 Cats to Meet in the Monarchies of Mau

Publisher: Onyx Path PublishingThis is a collection of 100 different cats that could be found in the Monarchies of Mau or perhaps beyond. Some are based in specific towns or places within the monarchies, and would rarely be found in other areas, whilst others travel more, and can be encountered on the roads. Each cat is given a name and descriptions of what they do. Some of the cats could be useful contacts or providers of services. Others could be a source of adventure hooks, as they require items that the characters could go and find for them. This PDF supports Adobe layers and the page backgrounds and images can be disabled to make printing easier. Here are some sample results:
Gail von Donskoy: Gail is technically a highwaycat and she does indeed rob travellers. She does, however, seem to treat it all as an enormous joke, and often what she steals seems utterly pointless. Swinging down from the trees or rising out of a brush, Gail will demand travellers pay a due, and is quite capable with a rapier if anyone chooses to fight, though she never kills her opponents. Gail has been known to rob people of a single piece of plastic whilst ignoring a chest full of treasure, and rarely does she steal much. Those who have encountered Gail often tend to regard her more as an odd type of entertainment to enliven a boring journey than a thief.
Gan von Suphalak: Gan works out of Neathwards underneath House Angora. He provides a guide service through some of the tunnels that riddle the ground underneath the monarchy, and also provides an advice service for those setting out to explore the tunnels on their own, explaining the dangers, what they need in supplies and how to avoid getting killed. Gan will provide his services to anyone, without question, and has helped more than a few less than licit groups to get to where they want to go.
Gatiss von Foldex: Gatiss is a weaponsmith, though one a bit different from the norm. He can make standard weapons, and will do if needed, but he specialises in making more experimental items; experimental often meaning, according to those who have used them, unpredictable and often dangerous to the wielder. From swords that dispense flaming oil through special channels to strange designs for arrowheads, Gatiss is willing to try them all. Sometimes they work; often they do not.
Glacis von Toyger: Glacis suffered some sort of family tragedy in her past, one that she refuses to discuss with anyone, although it’s believed the scars she bears on her face and body, and that she seems to have no living family, are connected. It’s also believed that the tragedy was related to bandits in some way, for Glacis has an absolute hatred for such and will never grant them quarter. She works as a guard and freelancer, choosing jobs that give her the best chance of being able to fight some hated bandits.
Harry Bombay von Mau: Harry runs a lounge in one of the smaller towns in House Mau and, with it being the only such place, it is a popular and common place to meet, especially as it is situated on a slight rise which gives the sun unrestricted access to its south-facing windows. Harry, whilst not malicious, is a notorious gossip. He can be a good source of information, but most cats know not to discuss anything of importance within his hearing, as there’s no telling where such information could end up.
